Whether peering for bunnies under the oak tree brambles, or pausing in play to watch a butterfly rest, she retreats to a world of her own in the great outdoors. Listening to the earliest morning birdsong, or building a castle village as the last remnants of daylight slip away, she is absorbed in the innocence and wonder of her world.

Protecting herself from bright sun and cool breezes is the last thing on her mind. She is comfortably cuddled in a bonnetfriend, the purest of organic cotton. She hardly notices how the lightweight relaxed bonnet protects her. Rather, she wonders if maybe today, she’ll swing higher than the trees.

Each bonnetfriend is extraordinary and special. We have endeavored to hand-make her bonnet to be worn through many changing seasons. Each pre-washed bonnet is reversible, with soft adjustable ties to avoid snapping or scratching her delicate skin. She can wear her bonnet snug, loosely tied to allow room for braids and ponies, or with the soft ties hanging down. She loves the whimsical fairytale prints, hardly notices the lightweight fabric, and so keeps it on!
